One of the most requested dispatch features

You can now detach various panels and customize your workspace in Dispatch 2—a feature previously available in Dispatch 1. For example, you can separate the locations panel and place it on another screen—perfect for creating a more efficient work environment. See the example of this setup in the image above.

How to detach panels:

  1. Detach a panel: Click the icon with a square and an arrow (located between the gear icon and the fullscreen icon in the top-right corner of each panel).
  2. Panel detached: The panel will pop-out and become a separate window. Adjust the detached panel to fit your workflow.
  3. Reattach the panel: To return the panel to its original position, drag the tab (e.g., "Locations") back to its place. A white box will indicate where the panel will be placed.

Tip:

  • To close the pop-out window, click the X on the panel. To restore the closed panel, click on the plus icon "Add panel" among the other panels.
  • To reattach the detached panel to the other panels in the Dispatch, simply close the pop-out window.
  • You can reset all panels to their original layout if needed. To restore the default panel layout from when you first logged in, go to User Menu > Settings > Reset > Reset panels layout.

Recommendation: Enable "Detailed view" to make the Groups panel in Dispatch 2 look similar to Dispatch 1.

How to enable Detailed View:

  1. Click the gear icon ("Settings") in the Groups panel.
  2. Check the box for "Detailed view" in the list of settings. You can preview how your panel will look further down the page. The more boxes you check, the more information will be displayed about the PTT group in the Groups panel.
