Call Sign

The Call Sign feature is a way for users to set a “callsign” name on their device so other users (both mobile and dispatcher) get more information about who is actually using the device.

If you have a set of generic radios numbered from 1 to 10 then it is convenient for the user to be able to set a callsign with their own name so that the other users knows who is using each of the radios.

Another example is for a gate keeper at a large construction site, where they can enter the actual gate numberthat they are working at.
