TimeWinder event using GroupTalk PTT
TimeWinder is one of Denmark’s most unique nostalgia events, bringing the period between 1875 and 1975 back to life. Visitors can experience vintage cars, antique tools, historic aircrafts, traditional clothing, and music that transports them through time. Behind the scenes, however, TimeWinder relies on modern communication technology — the GroupTalk Push-to-Talk (PTT) service — to make sure everything runs smoothly.
For the third consecutive year, TimeWinder’s organizers and volunteers have used GroupTalk to coordinate teams, share updates, and handle incidents instantly. With just a single press of a button on their smartphones, volunteers across the large festival area can connect and communicate in real time. The result: efficient operations, improved safety, and a seamless experience for visitors.
The event is entirely run by volunteers, from garbage collectors to team leaders and coordinators. GroupTalk helps them stay connected and organized throughout the event, creating a reliable communication network that allows everyone to focus on what matters most — offering visitors an unforgettable journey through history.
