Push to Talk in ATEX zones

In the oil and gas industry, communication devices must be specially designed for use in explosive environments. With GroupTalk, you can now use certified ATEX devices to stay connected safely and efficiently.

The new ECOM Bluetooth Remote Speaker Microphone (RSM) for ATEX Zone I/II allows users to keep their smartphone securely tucked away while maintaining instant access to Push to Talk (PTT), Panic Alarm (SOS), Channel selection, Media, and Volume controls.

Both the SOS button and Channel buttons can be customized to perform alternative actions — for example, queue to dispatch, repeat the last incoming message, switch to your favorite PTT group, or select the next group. The SOS button can also trigger alerts directly to your colleagues’ GroupTalk devices, PC Dispatchers, or even third-party emergency centers via SMS.

With a Bluetooth RSM for ATEX Zone I/II, you can communicate completely wirelessly — no more annoying cables between your smartphone and the RSM.
