Norwegian upgrades to PTT over Cellular using GroupTalk

Do as Norwegian, become a GroupTalker

Norwegian's new communication solution: GroupTalk Push-to-Talk (PTT)

We at GroupTalk are proud to announce that Norwegian Air Shuttle has selected GroupTalk as its new communication solution. The new Push-to-Talk solution enables direct and encrypted voice, text, and video communication between pilots, Senior Cabin Crew Members (SCCM), and ground handling staff. The goal is to improve coordination between flight crew and ground handling personnel to create a more efficient workflow. The new service also allows Norwegian’s flight crew to communicate with ground handling staff at different airports through shared PTT groups (talk groups), a solution already in use by other airlines at many airports.

We are honored to support Norwegian as a customer with secure, efficient, and modern group communication, ensuring seamless collaboration among the crew at airports. Check out the pictures from their launch day below, where GroupTalk was introduced to the crew!
